Kev’s Kombi! A 1978 all original Volkswagen Kombi in prestige condition. This super cool retro project involved fully restoring the original, almost 50 year old fitout and giving it a full facelift. I learnt lots of new skills whilst completing this build, along with tons of tedious jobs but it’s easy to say the result was well worth it. It has a super simple layout and I tried to reuse as many of the original pieces as I could including the same rock’n’roll bed mechanism and cushions. Stoked with how this one came out and hopefully Kev can continue to give this vintage gem the use it deserves.
